Sharing bundles (Why is it so difficult?)

Since last year, one of the repeated pieces of feedback we have received is about how to share a final document bundle with other parties (in particular the Courts).

In some use cases, we have heard of perfectly produced Zylpha electronic document bundles being broken down into multiple pieces and then emailed out.

We think this is a bad idea for many reasons, but particularly because:

  1. it will break the pagination in the bundle
  2. email is not that secure
  3. it creates unnecessary extra work for the person or people who are creating the document bundle

Rest assured that this is a key strategic project that the team here at Zylpha are working on, but it’s going to take time before we have an early access release available for our clients to use.

In the meantime, we recommend that you use the Safedrop service from ProjectFusion.

Safedrop is the secure file sharing platform we use when sending any large files to clients. It is in use by law firms and legal teams up and down the UK, and we love many of its great features, including the ability to download receipts when a recipient has successfully downloaded the document bundle.

As an existing technology partner of Zylpha Ltd, we have been able to agree to a two-week free trial for anyone who is interested in this particular software solution. You can find more information about how to use the app on Safedrop.
