Zylpha Desktop is still an active product. At present there are no plans to end-of-life the product. Zylpha Desktop has it's own development roadmap aimed at bringing new enhancements and improvements to the product.
Yes. When you have a PDF output from Zylpha you can them upload it into online. This will import all files as individual documents and recreate your sections for you. You'll need to redo your numbering styles and update the corresponding dates for each document.
Typically Zylpha online releases new features and updates at a rate of once a month. This coincides with our email newsletter which is sent to all registered users so that they are aware of new features. We also communicate new features in-app via our support chat.
As Zylpha online is a web application, this means that we store your documents in the cloud. We impose a 100 user bundle limit so that old bundles are deleted and their documents do not remain on our system.
The main difference is that Zylpha online covers the whole process of building a bundle, which includes editing files so that they are in a state of readiness for the bundle. This means you can upload a file, delete blank pages, add OCR and much more all from within the Zylpha platform. Reducing the need for additional software, and providing a seamless experience for users.
