The draft copy of the release notes should give you a clearer idea of the scope and scale of changes required to your SolCase or Visualfiles system. We hope to release the software in the next few days, having been delayed awaiting responses to a number of our queries from the Portal Helpdesk.
Please note that this particular upgrade is mandatory and, if you wish to continue to use the Portal A2A integration seamlessly after the go live of Release 5, you must upgrade to RapidRTA. The v5.4.0.0 release package will include a new version of the RapidRTA executable program, which you will need to ensure is installed on all your relevant client machines over the weekend of the Portal Release 5 upgrade (as well as as soon as possible on any machines you use for testing!).
For those users who are already on v5.2.3.0 of RapidRTA or who are using the Visualfiles Add-in version, this should prove to be a relatively straightforward upgrade. Non add-in or SolCase users on earlier or bespoke versions may need to “fill in the functionality gaps” from previous upgrades.
