An account with Hubshare is required and all internal users must be setup in advance in Hubshare. Users will receive a password challenge when using the integration for the first time.
Hubshare is part of our Visualfiles Integration Package, which includes all Visualfiles integrations developed and maintained by Zylpha.
We add new tools to the package all the time, and as and when we do, you'll get them automatically for free.
The solution consists of a .net library which can be called using the Visualfiles scripting which is contained within the “Hubshare” Visualfiles Add-in (also supplied). The .net programs must be installed in the same location for each user (i.e. on the user’s PC or thin client environment). This location is then referenced in the Visualfiles scripting. The Visualfiles scripts create xml files which are passed to the .net programs which, in turn, handle the connection to Hubshare to perform the action requested. Data returned from Hubshare is written back to xml files and processed back into Visualfiles by scripting.
Credentials (access token and refresh token) are stored in the user’s registry at first login.
