Australian legal practice Sparke Helmore has chosen the DeveloperPlus solution from Zylpha to provide Development and Support cover for its existing Visualfiles case management resource.
Under the terms of the agreement, Zylpha will provide a cost-effective and responsive route to covering periods of workload transition by internal developers including: staff departures, maternity leave, holidays or illness.
With over 600 employees across nine offices, Sparke Helmore is one of Australia’s leading practices and works with the insurance, government, financial services, technology, mining, construction and property sectors. As a successful and expanding practice, effective case management is essential, so ensuring continuous and optimal usage of Visualfiles is a pre-requisite. Sparke Helmore chose Zylpha to help ensure this because of its internationally acclaimed expertise in supporting Visualfiles’ users around the world.
Zylpha, which also develops class leading court bundling and secure legal delivery systems, has built its Visualfiles consultancy services to meet an ever increasing demand for high quality outsourced technical expertise. The DeveloperPlus support services available range from technical support and capacity management through to incorporating changes in a practice’s business structure and system migration. As requirements alter over time, Zylpha is able to tailor its annual SLAs to match the specific practice needs of each customer. As many legal practices are now international, Zylpha has increasingly expanded its horizon to support clients around the globe, including Sparke Helmore.
As Peter Campbell, CIO of Sparke Helmore says, “We were aware that Zylpha has an excellent international track record for ensuring that practices optimise their use of Visualfiles. We also knew from experience that they are very responsive and easy to work with. By using Zylpha, therefore, to cover transitional gaps in our own internal Visualfiles resource, we are able to ensure continuity. Ultimately, it is the clients that benefit so it is an exceedingly worthwhile investment to make.”
Zylpha’s CEO Tim Long welcomed Peter’s comments adding, “Sparke Helmore is known throughout Australia for delivering the highest levels of representation to its clients. In part this has been achieved by maintaining the very highest standards across all areas of its business. By using Zylpha to ensure consistent developer and support coverage for their Visualfiles case management system, they can minimise downtime, which would otherwise risk impacting client satisfaction. Sparke Helmore recognized this and decided to use DeveloperPlus to remove the risks of transitional workload issues. We are delighted that they have chosen Zylpha’s and we look forward to helping them ensure Visualfiles continuity.”
